Habit 4 is effective interpersonal leadership. This is the beginning of interdependence. In interpersonal leadership, there are 6 types of interactions.
1. Win/Win – Agreements and solutions are mutually beneficial for all. This view holds that life is cooperative, not competitive. Success is not achieved at the expense of others. There is enough for everyone to succeed.
2. Win/Lose – “If I win, you lose.” This approach is about power and position. Examples include peer groups that reject or accept; athletics or games with a zero sum outcome; academics where good grades are required for success; and competition in the business world....to be continued!
