I have had anxiety for years, which is what inspired me to write this piece. Every coping skill I discuss in this booklet has been shown to be effective through research, and I have used the technique myself and found that it works. In writing this piece, I drew upon both my professional experience as a social worker and my personal experience with anxiety. This dual perspective gives me a unique insight into anxiety that authors of other self-help works on the subject of anxiety may not have. It is my hope that this proves valuable to you as you read.
